Making Do...

When you're a New England surfer, you don't often experience dream conditions and dream waves...more often, the weather is gray and drizzly, the tide too high, the wind not quite right...but you make do; you make the best of it.  A few days ago, a good swell was running...but I was out of action with a bad back...I drove to the beach anyway, camera in hand, not expecting much...and though the swell was up, and the wind was right, the tide was too high, and the surf a bit fickle, as it's often wont to be...still, there were a couple guys out, making the best of it, and though the lighting was dreary, the mist heavy, and the rain incessant, I made the best of it too...got a few shots...
